What kind of drawing workshops do you offer?

I offer a range of group workshops and events for your teams and clients spanning the topics of ‘still life’ (drawing natural or man-made objects), ‘life drawing’ (drawing the human form from life with a professional model) and ‘architectural drawing’ . I also offer ‘city art walk’ sessions outdoors and watercolour painting classes. I’m always rustling up new ideas for my workshops so feel free to suggest your own ideas. I’m Midlands-based making most places in the UK easy to reach.

How does each workshop take shape?

Workshops begin with a brief introduction to the topic, a demo of the drawing materials and a little group warm up activity. The class then follows a guided tutorial to learn the basic techniques of the session before artists are left to explore their own creativity and conjure their own individual artworks. I always make sure to set aside some time at the end to reveal, snap and share our masterpieces!

Do I need any prior drawing experience?

Nope! All workshops include step-by-step tutorials with the group following along at the same pace - although I like to make things a little more challenging for the more experienced amongst you! 

Can we design our own workshop?

Of course! The format is very flexible and I can create bespoke workshops just for you and your team or clients. Your workshop can cover a topic and theme of your choice, it can take place during the day or after work and it can be a couple of hours or a full day.

Can I book a series of workshops?

Absolutely! Each topic comprises several sub-themes for example ‘Still Life - Form’ or ‘Still Life - Composition‘ etc. Pick a single specific workshop or choose a whole topic if you’re keen to delve a little deeper and book a set of sessions.

What’s included?

All drawing materials, paper, boards, props and tuition are provided. Just give me a room or office space with tables and chairs and I’ll set everything up myself. Job done.
